Over 100 Years Of Coatings Excellence

Meat & Poultry Processing Facility Floor & Wall Systems

From USDA-compliant urethane cement to antimicrobial wall coatings, we install high-performance surface systems built for the unique demands of meat and poultry environments — blood, fat, thermal shock, daily caustic washdowns — without shutting down your production.

We Work Around Your Schedule

Nights, weekends, holidays, shutdowns — we run multiple crews 24 hours a day to get large projects done in short windows so your production schedule stays intact.

Fast Response for USDA & OSHA Violations

When an inspector cites a flooring or wall deficiency, you need it resolved fast. We can mobilize quickly, understand compliance standards inside and out, and move with urgency to get your facility back in good standing.

Containment for Active Facilities

When your facility can't shut down completely, we install containment barriers that isolate your work zone — protecting your product from contamination while production continues in adjacent areas.

SERVICES

Meat & Poultry Processing-Grade Surface Systems

01

Urethane Cement Flooring

This is the system we install most often in meat and poultry facilities — and for good reason. Urethane cement handles extreme thermal cycling: boiling water and steam washdown immediately followed by freezer temperatures, without cracking. It bonds to damp concrete, resists blood, fat, and the caustic sanitizing chemicals used every shift, and delivers a seamless surface that stands up to the most demanding production environments.

02

Antimicrobial Topcoat Systems

A sealed, nonporous surface is essential for USDA compliance. Once the urethane cement base is installed, we apply an epoxy or urethane topcoat that eliminates surface porosity where bacteria can harbor. Topcoat systems are matched to your production environment — smooth for easy sanitation in high-care zones, or with controlled texture where slip resistance is required without sacrificing cleanability.

03

Anti-Slip & Safety Coatings

Wet floors in processing facilities are a constant OSHA liability. We install broadcast systems using the right aggregate profile for your specific production area — enough grip to keep your crew safe without trapping protein residue, fat, or debris in the surface. Every installation stays fully cleanable and sanitation-compatible.

04

Industrial Floor Patching & Repairs

Cracked, spalled, or deteriorating concrete under an active processing line is a code violation, a contamination risk, and a slip hazard — all at once. We repair and patch quickly, restoring a compliant, seamless surface with the same materials and systems we use on full installations so repaired areas perform identically to the rest of the floor.

01

Fiberglass Reinforced Panel (FRP) Systems

FRP panels are the most common wall solution in meat and poultry facilities — they’re nonporous, impact resistant, and can handle daily high-pressure washdowns without degrading. We install FRP systems over concrete block, drywall, or existing wall substrates, with watertight caulked joints and sealed edges to eliminate any harborage points where bacteria can accumulate.

02

Cementitious Urethane Wall Coatings

Where a smooth, fully bonded wall coating is preferred over panels, we apply urethane cement wall systems directly to masonry and concrete substrates. These coatings resist thermal shock and the same chemical exposure your floors face, creating a continuous sanitary surface from floor to ceiling that’s easy to inspect and clean.

03

Epoxy Wall Coatings

For dry processing areas, packaging rooms, and corridors, epoxy wall coatings provide a durable, washable surface at a lower cost than FRP or urethane cement. We apply high-build epoxy systems in appropriate thicknesses for your environment and traffic conditions, color-coded where needed for zone designation or HACCP compliance.

04

Wall-to-Floor Transition & Cove Systems

The wall-to-floor joint is one of the most commonly cited deficiencies in USDA facility inspections. A proper sanitary cove eliminates the 90-degree angle where moisture, organic debris, and bacteria accumulate. We form and coat coved transitions as part of every floor and wall installation — ensuring the joint is fully sealed and continuously sanitary.

01

Trench Drain Coating & Lining

Trench drains in processing facilities take a beating — constant water flow, organic waste, cleaning chemicals, and foot traffic. Uncoated concrete drains crack, harbor bacteria, and fail inspection. We line trench drains with urethane cement or epoxy systems that seal the substrate completely, resist chemical attack, and create a smooth, self-cleaning surface that’s fast to inspect and easy to certify.

02

Floor Drain Repair & Resurfacing

Deteriorated floor drain boxes and collars are a leading source of facility inspection findings. We remove failing material, rebuild the drain collar, and resurface with the appropriate system to restore a compliant, sealed transition between your floor coating and the drain body — eliminating low points where moisture and debris accumulate.

03

Sanitary Cove Installation

Every wall-to-floor and column-to-floor junction in a processing facility requires a properly formed sanitary cove to prevent moisture infiltration and microbial buildup. We form coves using pre-formed urethane cement or hand-troweled systems and coat them with the same surface system used on adjacent floors and walls — creating a continuous, inspectable, fully compliant transition.

04

Drain Area Slope Correction

Standing water is a USDA and OSHA violation and a daily sanitation problem. We assess existing floor pitch, grind high spots, and apply leveling systems to correct drainage slope — directing water to the appropriate drain points and eliminating the pooling that creates slipping hazards and bacterial growth conditions.
