Industrial Flooring Patching and Repair Project

Peckham Coatings was contracted to perform precision floor patching and restoration at an active industrial facility. Years of heavy forklift traffic, chemical exposure, and thermal cycling had caused cracking, spalling, and surface wear throughout key production zones. The objective was to restore the integrity of the concrete surface without disrupting ongoing operations.

Surface preparation included targeted mechanical grinding and shot blasting to remove contaminants and create proper profile for adhesion. Damaged areas were repaired using an industrial-grade epoxy mortar system designed for high-compression strength and chemical resistance. Repaired sections were seamlessly tied into the surrounding floor and finished with a urethane topcoat to provide abrasion resistance, color uniformity, and long-term durability.

The completed patching work restored a smooth, functional, and easy-to-clean surface capable of withstanding the rigors of industrial production. The client noted immediate improvements in both safety and maintenance efficiency, as well as minimal downtime during the repair process.
