Commercial Epoxy Contractor — Washington
Spec-driven commercial epoxy flooring for Washington GCs, plant engineers, and facility managers. 25 years of industrial coatings work serving Seattle, Tacoma, Spokane, and statewide — aerospace, food-grade, and USDA-compliant systems, ISNetworld and Avetta verified.
Commercial epoxy built for Washington facilities
Peckham Coatings serves Washington commercial facilities across the Puget Sound corridor, Spokane, and the Tri-Cities. Our crews install spec-driven epoxy systems in aerospace facilities, food and beverage plants, dairy processing, healthcare campuses, schools, and municipal wastewater sites. Every system is engineered around the Pacific Northwest's wet-climate slab conditions — full moisture mitigation, CSP-3 surface prep, and chemistries that tolerate cool ambient install temps.
We specify USDA-compliant urethane cement for food contact zones, ESD-controlled systems for aerospace and electronics, and novolac topcoats for chemically aggressive plants. Every project starts with a moisture probe (Washington slabs frequently exceed 5 lb MVT and need a vapor mitigation primer rated to 25 lb / 100% RH), a written shutdown-window schedule, and ISNetworld / Avetta-compliant safety documentation.
Washington metros & markets
Commercial sectors we work in
Aerospace
Aerospace hangars, MRO bays, and component manufacturing demand floors that resist jet fuel, hydraulic fluid, and heavy rolling loads.
View IndustryFood Processing
Food plants need USDA / FDA-compliant, washdown-rated systems that survive sanitation cycles, hot water, and aggressive chemicals — without harboring bacteria.
View IndustryDairy Facilities
Dairy plants are the most demanding environments we work in — wet, hot, caustic, and cycling 24/7. Urethane cement is the answer.
View IndustryBiotech Facilities
Biotech, pharma, and medical device manufacturers depend on cleanroom-rated, ESD-controlled surfaces that pass audit after audit.
View IndustrySchools
K–12 districts and college campuses need systems that install fast over summer break and protect capital assets for decades.
View IndustryWastewater & Tank
Municipal and industrial wastewater facilities operate in some of the most aggressive environments in the country.

How a Peckham install runs
1. Spec Walk & Assessment
On-site visit with the GC, plant engineer, or facility manager. We document chemistry, traffic loads, washdown protocol, shutdown window, and any existing failures before recommending a system.
2. Surface Prep
Diamond grinding or shot blasting to CSP-3 or higher. Crack repair, joint detailing, and full containment so production lines stay clean.
3. Moisture Mitigation
Every slab gets a calcium chloride or RH probe test. If MVT exceeds the system's tolerance, we install a vapor mitigation primer rated to 25 lb / 100% RH.
4. System Build
Primer, high-build basecoat, broadcast aggregate (if specified), and chemical-resistant top coat installed to manufacturer thickness with wet-mil checks.
5. QA, Warranty & Care
Holiday testing on chemical-resistant systems, DCOF testing on slip-rated finishes, written warranty, and a maintenance plan with cleaning chemistries and recoat schedule.
